Everything you need to know about returning, cancelling, or exchanging your rental.

How it works
Step 1
Trigger your return

Log in to My Account and find the order you'd like to return. Tap "Return this order" and confirm your request.

You'll receive an email straight away with a link to your personal returns portal, so check your inbox and junk folder.

Step 2
Open your returns portal

Click the link in your email to open our returns portal. It takes just a minute or two to complete.

The portal link is valid for 7 days. Can't find the email? Check spam or contact hello@baboodle.co.uk
Step 3
Generate your label

Generate your free returns label in the portal. Choose to print it or use a QR code on your phone (no printer needed).

If your order arrived in multiple boxes, please generate a separate label for each parcel. Do not combine them into one box.

Remove or cover all old labels on the box before attaching your new returns label.
Step 4
Book collection or drop off

Choose how you'd like to send it back:

Book a date and the courier comes to you
Drop Off
Take to your nearest Post Office or drop point
At handover, take a clear photo of your parcel with the label visible, and make sure the courier scans it. This is your proof of postage.
Step 5
Await your confirmation

Once we receive and check in your item at our warehouse, you'll get a confirmation email confirming that your rental has ended.

Please note: billing continues until we receive your item. There's a 5-day grace period from when you initiate your return, so please send it back promptly.

Your rental officially ends when we confirm receipt. Billing stops the moment we check your item in.
Good to know
When should I initiate my return?

Payments are taken on the same day each month, in advance of your next month's rental. If you'd like to return your item before your next month begins, you must initiate your cancellation one working day before your next billing date.

As long as we receive your item back within 5 days of your payment date, that payment will be refunded. Unfortunately we cannot issue refunds for payments not cancelled in time.

What packaging should I use?

If your item arrived in its original product box, please use that to return it, as our boxes fold flat for easy storage. If you no longer have the original box, please get in touch at returns@baboodle.co.uk before sending anything back.

Always keep your proof of postage until you've received your return confirmation from us.
What if I don't have a printer?
No problem. You can use a QR code instead of a printed label. Show it at your Post Office or drop-off point and they'll scan and print it for you.
What happens once you receive my item?

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll send you a confirmation email. Your subscription will be updated and the returned item removed from your next payment.

You'll also receive a unique discount code to use on your next rental, as a little thank you from us.

What about payments while my return is in transit?
If your billing date falls before we receive your item, your usual payment will still be taken. However, we allow a 5-day transit period and this payment will be refunded if we receive the item within 5 days of your payment date.
My order arrived in multiple boxes, what do I do?
Please generate a separate returns label for each parcel and do not consolidate into one box. Each parcel must be individually scanned and evidenced. Missing parcels will result in continued billing.
I can't find my returns portal email. Help!
First check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, email us at returns@baboodle.co.uk and we'll resend it straight away.
Cancellation Policy
Before we've shipped your item
Cancelling before dispatch

We will charge you a £5 cancellation fee. This covers the cost of reserving your item and processing your order, including credit checks and software licensing fees.

If you subsequently place another order, just drop us an email at hello@baboodle.co.uk and we will deduct £5 from the order value.

Monthly subscription · Item not yet used
Cancelling within 14 days of delivery, unopened

You may cancel within 14 days of delivery and receive a full refund less a £5 cancellation fee plus the cost of outbound and return shipping, provided that:

  • Baboodle receives the item back within 14 days of it being delivered to you
  • The item is returned in the exact condition in which it was delivered, with the same packaging intact and undamaged

Monthly subscription · Item used or opened
Cancelling within 14 days of delivery, used

If your packaging has been opened or your item has been used, the cancellation fee will be either:

  • A percentage of the monthly rental cost on a pro-rata basis
  • The delivery and return shipping cost to us
  • The cost to us of cleaning the item and performing the necessary quality checks
or
  • If applicable, the equivalent cost of the item on a calendar rental

If the item is not back with us within 14 days of you receiving it, your fee will be priced as one full month's rental.

Calendar rental
Cancelling a calendar rental after dispatch

You may cancel within 14 days of delivery and receive a refund of the price you paid, less the price payable on our website for the number of days you have had the item. This applies regardless of whether the packaging has been opened.

Fixed term · Early return
How is an early return charge calculated?

If you're on a fixed term plan and return early, a cancellation charge may apply. This is the difference between your discounted monthly rate and the standard monthly rate, multiplied by the number of months you've rented.

Example

You've rented a pram for 3 months at £37/month (standard rate: £42/month). If you cancel after 1 month, the charge would be: £42 − £37 = £5 × 1 month = £5.

Exchange Policy
Good news
You can exchange your item at any time!

We'll simply charge you for any costs associated with the swap:

  • Any difference in rental rate (pro-rata) between the exchanged items
  • The delivery and return shipping cost to us
  • The cost to us of cleaning the returned item and performing the necessary quality checks
